In this room we find some of the weapons that were collected by the 2nd Viscount of Pindela, Viscente Pinheiro Lobo Machado de Melo e Almada (Guimarães, 1852 - Vila Nova de Famalicão, 1922),  Politician, a Colonial Administrador, a Portuguese Diplomat and Writer.

 

This collection consists mainly of side arms, firearms and elements of aurmour, dating from the 15th to the 19th centuries. "It was one of the most important private collections of weapons gathered in northem Portugal in the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries."
